Bendy Plywood BB/BC

5x2440x1220mm - 11kg, Bending Plywood, also known as Bendy Plywood, Flexible Plywood, or Flexi Plywood, is lightweight, non-structural plywood that can bend and curve around a tight radius while remaining stable and easy to handle.

It is available in two sheet types that bend following the direction of the grain. 'Long grain' bends along the length of the sheet and 'short grain' across the width of the sheet. For example, 'Long grain' sheets can be rolled up to create a vertical column 2440mm high, and 'short grain' can be rolled up to create a shorter and wider column 1220mm high.

Both 6 mm and 8mm bending plywood have a three-ply construction. It starts with a thin centre core and adds two thicker surface veneers.

• Appearance: The face of Bendy Plywood is BB grade, and the reverse is BC grade. Timber plugs, repairs, discolouration, putty, minor mechanical defects from the machining and joins are allowed on both sides.
• Applications: This non-decorative surface product should be painted over. It is used for radius formwork, radius walls and ceilings, arched door portals, and as a backing for flexible slatted wall cladding panels.
